About the Event


The Diplomat Bucharest, magazine will organize the first national forum dedicated to Smart systems, solutions which improve the quality of life by using technology to reduce costs and resources consumption in the medium and long term through optimization of public services on September 29th 2016, Bucharest.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss upon the concept of integrated cities - “Smart cities”, that combines specific multiple solutions (energy, transport, IT&C etc.) based on an optimized management system and urban identities, as the way to follow in the context of general European directives. In order to have an easier and more informed manner of implementing the Smart systems, Romania could guide itself by the model of other European countries. The competent collaboration and transparency of those involved - administration and public institutions, players in the energy chain, manufacturers, distributors, solution providers and end users, can bring major benefits in terms of sustainable development for the Smart cities by increasing local competitiveness in a globalized world.

The forum is equally addressed to Smart technologies and equipment suppliers, energy companies, community services providers for public utilities, waste management, transportation, traffic management, health services providers .
